In the years of supplying Purom access panels to construction projects across North America, we have had numerous calls for our doors from acoustical engineers, because of their superior sound transmission resistance. Our Purom plus II access panel has been designed with a gasket in the panel's frame that provides the mass and acoustic qualities of the wall or ceiling, helping to reduce the noise transfer between rooms. If you require additional acoustic properties, we can add a second layer of gypsum wallboard laminated to the back of the door to increase the mass.

We can custom design the Purom plus access panel to any size to suit your project as well as add several other additional options to improve the acoustic properties further.
